With gas surging past $4 a gallon and the world looking at higher demand and decreasing supply, why haven't we already started building more nuclear plants? Obviously it is our only practical alternative to gasoline to use electric cars. Electricity is our only hope for personal transportation of the future, and nuclear power is our only practical way of producing all that power without ruining the planet.
